Old Faithful

Went to Yellowstone National Park to meet up with Jon Long and shoot some of the expensive cameras he had been traveling with all summer. He worked for Canon for their Canon in the Parks program and was able to shoot all over the place. This was a 5d Mark II with a 15mm fisheye. Fun day of shooting, then the Canon rep bought us beers. All in all it was worth the drive, even if it was just to go shoot Canons.

New lights!

My aunt just gave me these flash units and stands and all sorts of other photo gear! This is the first time these have been out of their box in a couple years but they still work great! Stoked to try these puppies out! Thanks Jamie!

SFP high noon shoot

Today in class we took a photo walk to make sure we knew how to fiddle with our cameras. We walked around the VCB taking pictures for about 30 min, It was just about noon so the sun was very bright and it was hard to manage shadows and such. But all in all it was a good day of class.
